Concrete, minimalism, light, wood. Everything about this perfectly formed little casa is just perfect. Casa Tiny is an ultra modern yet rustically styled tiny home located in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. Situated between a private beach and a forest, this is one of the most perfect getaway retreats we've seen. In the owner's words: "Inspired by Henry David Thoreau's "Walden", Casa Tiny is a place to escape from society, enjoy a simple life for a couple of days, a week or a month in this minimal, low-impact, isolated abode."
The design of Casa Tiny reflects it's purpose - it is low impact, minimal, and free of the distractions of overly complicated or technology-focused design. This is a back-to-nature retreat from the world, a place to switch off, breathe and recharge. The design also encourages the resident to be outdoors, as the inside and outside spaces are literally connected - the kitchen table extends outside! And the large wooden windows and doors open up to provide panoramic views of the surrounding scenery. The resident is also granted access to the nearby Casa Wabi artist residency and Hotel Escondido.
All in all, this is top of our list for holiday destinations at the moment!
