As a movie buff and adventure fiend, one of my favorite ways to spend a night or impress a first date is with a cozy outdoor movie or with binge-watching a show in a homemade pillow fort. Suffice to say, I was pretty excited when I saw this Filmatic portable mini projector. It looks to me like the best outdoor projector out there right now. Filmatic has made the impossible a reality: an actually stylish, durable, lightweight, and portable-as-hell projector that doesn’t skip out on high-quality image and sound. I’m not the only one that has bought into the hype- the six top engineers who came together from top tech companies to mastermind this insanely small yet powerful projector managed to surpass their Kickstarter goal in hours, and are well on their way to mass production. I know that I’ll be first in line, throwing elbows. These guys actually thought of everything that you want in a portable projector. Pocket-size, unbreakable, die-cast aluminum alloy all-metal design that’s waterproof and drop resistant, built-in Bluetooth connection with insane speaker volume and high-quality 1080p video, auto-focus and auto-keystone correction, any kind of wireless or direct connection you could possible need to watch video or listen to music from legitimately any device you own, proprietary silent fan heat dissipation technology... I could actually go on forever with the amazing features that blow the traditional, flimsy plastic portable speakers out of the water.
