"Blazing Saddles", "The Gambler", "The Badlands" - you can probably sense a theme. These are the names of some of the variety of handmade bar soaps, deodorants, beard oils, solid colognes and more from Outlaw Soaps. A pretty quirky company who produce "Western and Wild West themed personal care products for individuals who seek adventure and reject a couch-bound life", Outlaw Soaps are based in Reno, Nevada and started business in 2013.
Don't let the Wild West shtick fool you though - these aren't cheap products with clever branding. On closer inspection, Outlaw's products are made from high-quality, super-natural ingredients - suitable for the most sensitive, not just sun-baked, leather-esque cowboy skin! On top of that, their products are handmade in small batches in the USA.
Here's a sample ingredient list from their "Blazing Saddles" natural deodorant (we love a good natural deodorant!):
Arrowroot Powder, Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda), Beeswax, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Fractionated Coconut Oil), Hydrogenated Avocado Oil (Avocado Butter), Coconut Oil, Fragrance, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), plant-based prebiotic.
Sounds about as natural as you can get. And apparently it smells like "leather, gunpowder, sandalwood, and sagebrush."
Manly, but sensitive. To find out more visit Outlaw Soaps below:
They do candles, too:
